Thank you to everyone who considered my blog worthy enough for such an honour and who nominated me in the first place. Chez Mummy is *counts on fingers* barely five months old and, although I hoped I might make the shortlist, I never really thought I would. There are so many great blogs out there, I feel humbled and honoured to be mentioned among them.
Ooh, that bit sounds good *scribbles it down for inclusion in the acceptance speech*. Well, I do have to be prepared, just in case...
The BiBs are the brainchild of BritMums, Britain's biggest parent bloggers network. The awards celebrate great writing and creativity by mum and dad bloggers across the country.
I've made the shortlist in the Fresh Voices and Video categories. The next thing to do is for everyone to vote for their favourite blogs on each category's shortlist and then a judging panel will make a final decision with the winners announced at a fancy do in June. So, if I can make an impassioned plea - please vote for me!
Please give me your vote if you think my style and words lend a 'fresh voice' to the world of blogging and, if you believe my videos (and my Show Real video-based blogging linky) are brilliant, I'd love your vote for that category too.
If that's not enough, then please don't let my acceptance speech go to waste. It will be a thing of beauty and joy...
or, more likely, a short mumbled thank you because I'd probably too overwhelmed to do much else. If I win the video category, I may even make a special acceptance speech video...ooh, the possibilities!
You don't have to be a blogger to vote for the Bibs, just someone who enjoys reading blogs (or, more specifically, mine!). Just click on the badges below to start voting.
That's my waffle over. I'm about to head on over and give my vote to those I think are worthy winners. Why don't you do too?
