All you need is love

I heart my husband.  He says the most romantic things...

"You've got old hands."

"You're a weirdo."

"Your feet are like cold slabs of meat. Keep them away from me."

Yes, I love my husband.

Of course, he does say the BEST things sometimes...

"Have you lost weight? You don't need to lose weight."

"We're like cheese and crackers...made for each other."

How do you keep the magic alive in your relationship? What sweet nothings does your other half whisper to you?

  1. My partner is wonderful and does so many things which show he loves me (he also hates that I am losing weight) however he is crap at compliments. He either notices I look nice and doesn't comment or does comment but somehow screws it up and makes it sound like an insult!

  2. I once had a guy break up with me because he felt our relationship was like "the bangers without the mash, something is missing"!

  3. For the ladies today, "Darling, you are the olive of my life's martini."

  4. To be fair to my husband, he does tend to do things for me to show me his affection rather than saying it all the time. Well, they say actions speak louder than words...Thank goodness for that!

  6. Oh yes, I like that too. My Dad would call my Mum 'The Queen'. It's good when they know their place :-P

  8. Love it! Sounds just like my man, always putting his foot in his mouth and in the next breath saying something lovely. Not sure about keeping the magic alive, but since having the little one last month we've become even closer
