I was lucky that Sophia didn't question who the characters were. If she hadn't liked them, we would have had to leave much earlier!Chez Mummyhttp://www.chezmummy.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-86131823485433946902012-03-24T07:41:35.748+00:002012-03-24T07:41:35.748+00:00Thank you so much xThank you so much xChez Mummyhttp://www.chezmummy.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-21666832273623341532012-03-24T07:41:08.430+00:002012-03-24T07:41:08.430+00:00They do say it's for children aged three and u...They do say it's for children aged three and up. The show is for about an hour (without an intermission) so if your child can still for that long, then that's the hardest part dealt with!Chez Mummyhttp://www.chezmummy.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-42963959862955098382012-03-24T07:40:10.762+00:002012-03-24T07:40:10.762+00:00I totally know what you mean. She enjoys the book but it's not her favourite. She seemed happy for me to tell her which animals they were when they appeared and didn't question it. But, I can definitely see how children who LOVE the book may not understand the interpretations. Have to say though, I did enjoy some of the references that were put in for adultsChez Mummyhttp://www.chezmummy.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-72055537312694463732012-03-24T00:47:02.310+00:002012-03-24T00:47:02.310+00:00I just wanted to say well done on been shortlisted...I just wanted to say well done on been shortlisted in the Fresh Voices category in the BIBs. Your blog is absolutely wonderful. I very nearly took my daughter to a production of the Gruffalo some years ago but when I heard it wasn't straight from the book I decided against it. Great review though :)

http://confessionsofasecretshopper.blogspot.comLouise Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-14266749125341428242012-03-21T16:38:40.358+00:002012-03-21T16:38:40.358+00:00I loved your review thank you for that, The gruffa...I loved your review thank you for that, The gruffalo has always been a fav in our house, but my youngest is probably too young to go yet being only two I can imagine the experience would probably be to huge for him!!!!!shelley fordnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-45880191289295896752012-03-21T08:25:32.910+00:002012-03-21T08:25:32.910+00:00Mine to! But it is all experience and he loved the theatre and he concentrated so their are plus points to everything! :)Multiple Mummyhttp://www.multiplemummy.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-40224554866258043692012-03-21T08:24:42.088+00:002012-03-21T08:24:42.088+00:00Very fair! We were up in the circle so you could not see all the Gruffalo features from there. I think it would have been better for Noah to have seen it at 6 or 7 and then he could have handled the interpretation, but then he is a die hard fan! I was disappointed for him, because it wasn't what he expected. So glad you enjoyed it though, even if you didn't get to see all of it! xMultiple Mummyhttp://www.multiplemummy.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7270544641593518569.post-51365939059912969592012-03-21T06:48:57.404+00:002012-03-21T06:48:57.404+00:00Great review. My personal preference would be to see the 'big cuddly creatures'. Thanks, I really enjoyed reading this.citygirlnomorenoreply@blogger.com
